Lauren Monaco Eddings

Lauren is an organizer, practitioner, grief tenderer and community carer. She is rooted in a healing-justice practice that is relational, exploratory, grounded in community logic, and responsive to the wisdom and resilience of the people in front of her. She spent ten years in organizing spaces focused on family policing abolition, and entered restorative justice in 2021 in search of a practice that could durably move people towards justice and healing as defined by the people at the center of harm themselves.

Outside of restorative justice work, she and her friends convene community over meticulous dinners and joyful chaos in evenings called Nonna Night.
